I see them... The unseen hands, pulling on the strings of hearts and minds. The shrouded puppet masters, making the innocent dance to their tune. I hear them...The silent voices, whispering lies. The toneless silver tongues, numbing the minds of the innocent. I feel them... The formless blades, cutting the hope of many. The incorporeal knives, bleeding the innocent dry. This poem was published by my school literary magazine so I decided to put it online, The Horrors Within Creatures of the night, what music they make. 'Tis a rhapsody of sinful glee, on this night All Hollow's Eve. Masquerade as a grotesque ghoul, or some abomination of flesh. Dance in the rays of the radiant moon, and forget thyself. Become something naught of this realm, forget thine earthly form. Play the game with a slight difference, repression though it is. Mock what thou fear'st, for thou cannot face it. Collect the sweets, walk the streets and forget. Celebrate the inevitable, and lose thyself.

Please Pass the Lunacy Blood soaked dreams, Sweat soaked sheets. Why the torment? Break my mind like a crystal rose. Streak my eyes with tar, Cage my hopes. Blackened walls laugh, as the crimson ceiling cries. One foot in the grave, The other in the mouth. Midnight winds sing, and the trees play the melody. Forgotten heroes, Imagined foes. Take hold of the tangible nothingness, I need to cut the tension in the room with a knife.

Regret, yet too late.

Regret, yet too late. By: Nicolas Alone I walk this bloodstained path, lost forever to humanity. Treachery on my shoulder, Guilt breathing down my neck. So many, too many, cut down by me. Candles snuffed, no longer leaving shadows. Ridiculous justifications for it, why did I listen? My proud blade now sullied, the blood shall never wash off. Barren wasteland is all that awaits me, under an ink black sky. No peace for me, haunted by day and night. Dying too good for me, don't deserve to live. "If only...If only," they repeat in my head. Too late for "if only," now only, "I did."

So after much battling I managed to format and submit the story I was supposed to submit oh so long ago. The long and short of it is I had some trouble with DA's new text submission system, and then I got a new computer and lost the file. But all is well now and I am indeed still alive. So today I am double submitting. First my short story and then a little poem I did. I look forward to feedback on both from you all~

Honestly I am simply writing this because I have gotten tired of looking at the last one. Also for those few of you who may read this I do have a bit of news. I have been, and am going to continue to attempt to submit my short story so you all have something to check out for the first time in an ungodly long time. I have been struggling with DA's new submission system and may simply type it out and manually submit it. Wish me luck that things go smoothly.
